Upset Joins Fnatic to Replace Rekkles
Fnatic have announced the new AD Carry of their League of Legends roster – it is a 20-years-old German player Elias "Upset" Lipp. He will replace Martin "Rekkles" Larsson, who left the team a week ago.
Upset has been competing on the professional level since 2016. His most recent team was Origen, recently rebranded to Astralis. He joined them in November 2019 and placed 4th in LEC Spring and 10th in LEC Summer. Earlier in his career he also played for FC Schalke 04 Esports (2017-2019) and helped G2 to place second at Mid-Season Invitational 2017 as a stand-in.
Earlier this offseason Fnatic parted ways with Martin "Rekkles" Larsson, who later joined G2 Esports, and Tim "Nemesis" Lipovšek, who decided to skip the Spring Split. This week the team also acquired a 22-years-old Belgian midlaner Yasin "Nisqy" Dinçer.
