Sumail and Saksa Depart OG

OG have announced that two players – Martin "Saksa" Sazdov and Syed Sumail "SumaiL" Hassan – have decided to leave the team. They expressed their desires to depart during the team’s meeting to discuss plans for the next season after The International 10.

While Saksa has been playing for OG since the beginning of 2020, SumaiL joined the team just this June, right in time for the TI10 qualifiers. There the team emerged victorious after defeating Tundra in the grand finals with a 3-2 score.

Later at The International they placed 3rd in in Group A with a 3-4-1 score, advancing to the playoffs upper bracket. There the team lost to Team Secret (0-2), outplayed Quincy Crew (2-0) and was eliminated by future champions Team Spirit (0-2). Thus, OG placed 7-8th at the event and claimed $1,000,500 in prize money.

Earlier another OG member Sébastien "Ceb" Debs revealed that TI10 was the final event in his player career, so now the team’s roster is down to two members. The organization promises to share more information “shortly”.
