RUSH Joins Evil Geniuses
Evil Geniuses have officially revealed the final member of their updated CS:GO squad – it is a 27-years-old American player William "RUSH" Wierzba, who for the last six months has been inactive.
RUSH is well known for his time in Cloud9 between 2017 and 2019, with whom he managed to win ELEAGUE Major: Boston, which is still the only major won by a North American team. Then he joined Complexity Gaming, where after two years of rather disappointing results he was benched in July and released in September. Since then the player has not appeared on the professional scene.
Earlier during this transfer period EG acquired Jacky "Stewie2K" Yip, who earlier represented Team Liquid, and Timothy "autimatic" Ta, who spent the previous season playing VALORANT for T1. Meanwhile Vincent "Brehze" Cayonte and Tsvetelin "CeRq" Dimitrov retained their places in the roster from the previous season.
The EG’s updated roster will debut next week at BLAST Premier Spring Groups – a $177,500 event scheduled for January 28th – February 6th. The team has been seeded in Group C alongside Vitality, FaZe and Liquid.
