Line-Up for DreamHack Masters Spring 2021 Revealed

DreamHack have revealed ten teams invited to compete in their next CS:GO event DreamHack Masters Spring 2021 – a $250,000 tournament scheduled for April 29th – May 5th.

Five teams, among which Astralis, FaZe Clan, G2 Esports, mousesports and Natus Vincere, received invites thanks to having partnership agreements with the tournament organizer. Another five teams – BIG, FURIA Esports, Gambit Esports, Team Vitality and Virtus.pro – were invited based on their places in the ESL World Ranking.

The invited teams will compete with two winners of DreamHack Open January – Team Spirit from Europe and paiN Gaming from North America, as well as the winners of the European qualifier Heroic, Complexity, Team Fiend and the champions of the American qualifier Extra Salt.

These teams will start competing in the group stage, where they will be split into two GSL groups. The winners of each group will advance to the playoffs semifinals, while the teams placed second and third will play in the quarterfinals. Besides $250,000 of prize money, the teams will also compete for ESL Pro Tour points and a point towards Intel Grand Slam.
