Astralis has announced a forced replacement for the Intel Extreme Masters Road to Rio 2022: European RMR A.
K0nfig will miss the tournament due to a compound ankle fracture. He will be replaced by MistR from Astralis Talent.
The Intel Extreme Masters Road to Rio 2022: European RMR A tournament will begin on October 4 and run through October 9. FaZe Clan, Team Spirit, Ninjas in Pyjamas, G2 Esports, Cloud9, Bad News Eagles, Sprout, Aurora Gaming, Fnatic, forZe, Eternal Fire, B8, ECSTATIC, 1WIN and GamerLegion will play alongside Astralis in the same RMR tournament.
At the end of the RMR-tournament, the top 8 teams will qualify for the Major. The top 4 clubs will qualify as Legends, teams in 5th and 6th place will be given Challenger status, and teams in 7th and 8th place will be given Contender status.
