Dota Summit 13: Quincy Crew Fail to Win their First Event Since May
The North American division of DOTA Summit 13 Online has concluded with the victory of Team Zero. The team of Jacky "EternaLEnVy" Mao managed to defeat Quincy Crew in the tournament’s grand finals – previously QC had been dominating the local scene for the last six months.
Quincy Crew finished the group stage at the first place with the 8-1-0 score. Meanwhile, Team Zero qualified to playoffs from the 3rd place with the 3-5-1 score. Later in the playoffs QC made it all the way through the upper bracket, where they defeated Thunder Predator (2-0) and Zero (2-1). After dropping to the lower bracket, EternaLEnVy’s team managed to outplay Infamous (2-1) in the lower bracket final. The final series concluded with the 3-2 in their favour.

Prior to Summit 13, Quincy Crew had been on a winning streak since May. The team won eight events during this time, including two ESL One tournaments, two BTS Pro Series events, as well as the second season of DOTA PIT and the first season of OMEGA League.
DOTA Summit 13: Americas was held online between October 21st – November 8th, featuring a $100,000 prize pool. This weekend the event also concluded in Europe and Southeast Asia, where the first places were taken by Vikin.gg and Motivate.Trust Gaming respectively.
