Astralis: Nukeduck Takes a Leave, Replaced by Magifelix

Astralis have announced that their current midlaner Erlend "Nukeduck" Våtevik Holm will take a break from competitive League of Legends. In his absence, the team will compete with Felix "MagiFelix" Boström.

24-years-old Norwegian player Nukeduck has been on competitive scene since 2011, having played for such clubs as Ninjas in Pyjamas, Team Vitality, FC Schalke 04 Esports, and Origen. The player joined Astralis during the last offseason. The organization has not explained why Nukeduck needed to take a break and doesn’t know when he will be back to the roster.

In the coming two months the team will play with MagiFelix, a 20-years-old Swedish player, who most recently was part of Fnatic Rising. The player has been signed until March 31st.

Astralis have had a rough start in the group stage of LEC 2021 Spring – currently the team is placed pre-last and has a 1-6 score. This weekend the team is expected to face FC Schalke 04 Esports and Misfits.
